THE INSPIRATION

The first time I saw New York City from above, I noticed that a fragmented city suddenly

transforms into one cohesive unit. The birds-eye-view, evokes feelings of freedom and eludes to

the vastness of space. Through the color and texture of the oil sticks, the many layers, textures,

strokes and colors intertwine capture the true magnificence of New York City’s skyline.

Painting from nature is not copying the object;

it is realizing one’s sensations.
